Tuesday 2nd October, Lucksall held a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the Riverside Bar & Eatery. The day before preparations were in full swing, the building was filled with the smell of cakes cooking.
Tuesday morning the weather was dry and we had a brilliant turn out to support this event with many guests and locals coming together. The room had such a lovely atmosphere with everyone chatting and enjoying themselves. There was a delicious selection of homemade cakes to tempt the taste buds, tea and freshly ground coffee.
We set ourselves a target of £500. With a combination of cakes, tea, coffee and raffle sales we managed to raised a total of £1,000.36
