Trelay Holiday Park is located not too far from Looe which is a lovely place to visit. Looe is situated both sides of the River Looe. One side is East Looe and the other side is West Looe these are joined by a seven arched bridge.
Looe is a busy working fishing harbour and you can sit by the water watching the fishing boats bringing in their catch. There are day fishing trips which operate from Looe, what will you catch? or a spot of Crabbing from the harbour wall.
East Looe is where you can find a selection of shops, mostly independent, from selling gifts, cloths & toys. If you fancy something tickle your taste buds there is an abundance of fish and chip shops, cafes where you can enjoy a Cornish Cream Tea, Pubs & bakery's where you can pick up a Cornish pasty.
East Looe is also home to Looe RNLI lifeboat station which was established around 1866, where you can also find a small gift shop.
Soak up the sea air and take a stroll on the sandy Looe beach with rock pools.
West Looe is quieter with some shops and restaurants. From this side you can look out to sea and catch sight of Looe Island which is of outstanding beauty and is run as a nature sanctuary.
